Welcome to PPRA

Running your own business is never easy.  That's why 6 years ago I joined the Pet Product Retail Association (PPRA) and having joined as a committee member 4 years ago, I’m now in my 2nd year as chairman, and along with my committee (themselves independent pet retailers) we work hard at supporting and protecting the interests of independent pet product retailers across the UK.

The PPRA is a division of the British Independent Retailers Association (bira), which means our members are part of a strong and proactive community of retailers. Members benefit from receiving their own magazine called Pet Product Focus, and once a year we reward the best in our sector at the PATS show in Harrogate. We also work with commercial partners to ensure our members receive tailored and exclusive insurance deals.

I would urge anyone who works in the independent pet retail sector to join the PPRA and start enjoying the benefits of being part of a proactive community of retailers.
